Review on White-Blue Fidget Cube - Prime Desk Toy For Kids & Adults To Reduce Anxiety And Stress Relief by Danny Robertson

(Chuchik V Antsy Labs) A few odd design choices, but overall enjoyable!

After using this fidget cube for a few months to help focus with my ADHD at work, and after comparing it with the Antsy Labs fidget cube, I can safely say I enjoy this one on par, if not more than the original! Whether or not you'll like this depends on how you fidget and what kinds of fidgets you prefer. I like a lot of clicking with mine, so this fit right in. Keep in mind I might be a bit biased since this chuchik piece was my first fidget cube. The video included alongside this is a demonstration of both cubes and pointing out what bits broke. The durability on the 4-button and switch sides aren't the best, after a day or two of clicking those, they all partially collapsed, but even with those issues, it's still so much fun to use! Comparing this with the AL original felt weird to me, since this was super smooth, quick, clicky, and responsive all over, while the AL cube was sandy, felt harder to get going with, and was a considerable trade-off considering all the features this has that I now miss with my AL cube. This might be because the AL cube I got was from the kickstarter run, so issues I bring up might have been addressed with the more recent editions. This one has a joystick that actually clicks when you pull on it and acts a lot more like a real controller joystick, while the AL has none of that, their joystick is just a flat sphere that you can push around in circles. The "spin" side on the chuchik is a lot friendlier too, since the design of it is just more ergonomic in general, with there being various grip points for your fingers and the positioning feels a lot more open in comparison to the AL, which only has a single lousy contact point to spin with along with the crumbly sandy inside textures I mentioned earlier. The only downsides I see with this product are how it can't fit a case onto it like AL does, along with the numerous durability issues some of the cube sides have. The "breathe" side on this chuchik is honest to god atrocious, and if you're a big fan of those, avoid this cube! The textures on that side are horrible, it feels so rubbery and the tactile response from rubbing a thumb through it makes me feel more anxious. The AL team killed it on this one since the original "breathe" side was just a regular smooth finish recess to move the thumbs through, and no weird textures stand in your way.TL: DR; If you use the buttons/breathe/roll sides a lot and are rougher on your cubes, go with the Antsy Labs original cube, but if you spin a lot, like things to click (and you aren't too hard on them), and you enjoy the joystick format on this, stick with the chuchik :]
