Review on 🧩 Meland Marble Run Sets Kids: Inspiring Creative Play and STEM Learning! by Christian Bar

I'm glad I chose this

I read tons of reviews on different marble surfaces before deciding on this one. I agonized over the criticisms that popped up on almost every marble run that the pieces didn't hold together and the structures fell apart. I bought it despite some negative reviews and it works great! The pieces hold together very well and my 7 year old and almost 4 year old kids love to play with it. When we first got it they spent at least 6 hours on it that day and at least 4 hours a day for the next few days. Over the course of a week or two it gradually faded and they gradually lost interest, but still took it out every few weeks and played with it for about an hour. Not bad for $40. I love that it comes with a handy drawstring pouch so we can pack everything up and not lose the pieces. It's also great that there are so many balls, because somehow, despite our best efforts, they REALLY disappear. The reviews say the structures are falling; In my experience, that's not the toy's fault. You need to build with a bit of skill, placing the towers in a triangular or square pattern (or actually a checkerboard pattern) for stability, rather than all in a straight line that could easily be knocked over. My children learned this very quickly. My 7 year old learned very quickly to build complex, fully functional structures. My almost 4-year-old son likes to roll marbles over other people's structures or just play with the pieces, putting them together and apart, sorting colors, collecting and hoarding marbles, etc. I get it". "The idea is that a working pearl works by itself , but that's ok; Both kids love the toy. Only 2 parts of the whole set don't work properly; 2, like curved roller coasters; They're just a little deformed and the balls don't roll on them anymore, so we stopped using them Everything else works great and we are very happy with it.

Pros
  • STEM Building Learning Toy with Marble Run. This marble building toy set comes with easy-to-follow building instructions. Children need to think about the direction of the tracks, shape and assemble them. All of which can help them develop hand-eye coordination, logical thinking, creativity, color and shape recognition, and spatial awareness.
