I have a 20 volt reciprocating saw, it came without a case. Transporting it in the rough box it came in is not an option for me. I considered getting a tool bag, but was concerned that the padded sides would not properly protect the plastic charger and battery. I found this tough tool box, saw and accessories to be a perfect match. I like the polypropylene construction as it doesn't rust like a steel tool box. The two main latches engage with a reassuring click, indicating they won't disengage when you grasp them by the handle. I love the convenience of two storage compartments built into the lid. I can store shorter saber saw blades there, as well as all other small parts. I will not use the tray that comes with it as it will not fit on the saw and accessories and still allow the lid to close. That suits me well, since any small items can still be stowed away in the compartments of the lid. The lid has a hole for a padlock. This is just a deterrent as the plastic can easily be cut up. This can give you peace of mind that "little hands" aren't playing your instruments. A bonus are the two included boxes with compartments. I will use them to organize small items like nuts, bolts, washers and screws. This tool box meets my needs. I recommend it.
