Poor quality and customer service

I wish I never had to give a bad review, but I was very disappointed with Lexar's quality control and customer service. As a freelance photographer, I wanted to use CF cards in addition to SD cards, so I settled on a Lexar 32GB CF card from Revain. I inserted a CF card into the CF card slot of the Canon 5D Mark III and guess what an error message popped up after turning on the camera. So I took out the CF card and was surprised to find that a pin in my 5D's CF card slot was bent (see picture). I checked the CF card and found that one of the 50 holes appears to be smaller than the others. So I emailed Lexar, spoke to at least 3 reps, but couldn't get through to the CEO/manager. The only answer I got was to send them the CF card to check and they will decide whether to give me a new card or not and they take no responsibility for the bent pin. Now I have to spend a few hundred dollars to fix a CF card slot that was damaged by a defective $30 CF card. Absolutely not worth it. When you buy this CF card, please check it carefully before inserting it into the camera. Be sure to return the faulty card before it harms your camera and your wallet.
