That fishy smell everyone was talking about? Very real. I could smell it as soon as I opened the plastic bag it was in. The smell starts to dissipate fairly quickly so I let it sit for a day before using. this is exactly what i was looking for. I was rude with the bag after opening it and opening all the compartments. It is not randomly sewn, the individual parts are sewn directly together, making it look more like a single piece with the compartments. I love its simple look and think it will work well as my new work bag to carry everything I need for the day. Some disappointments. Colour. It is much darker orange than brown. I think he'll also feel a lot more solid when he's full because at that point he'll bend over and fall over easily if he's not forced to sit down. I'm not very happy with it, I'm also glad I got it on sale. Update: after thinking about it overnight, I decided it wasn't what I expected; color and style. I returned it. It's just not worth it for me.
