My son had a real duvet that lost too many feathers after many washes. To save money, we decided to try one of these options. While it looks nice and doesn't wrinkle, I feel it's too light and definitely not as warm as his duvet. We ended up having to throw a second blanket over him and he's not too hot which seems to suggest I'm right about the blanket being too light. I would not recommend this blanket to anyone. Firstly, I regret choosing something that isn't 100% cotton coated for breathability. Secondly, it is too light and cannot compete with the warmth of a duvet. Keep searching. You can do better.
