As with all flat box furniture the instructions could have been better but after carefully studying the diagrams I was able to put it together in about 30 minutes. Once put together I found it surprisingly durable and very comfortable to sit on. I weigh about 275 and it holds up with no problems. The storage space inside is a bit smaller than I expected, but still adequate. Because it's made of chipboard, DO NOT use a drill or screwdriver to assemble it. They will pierce the wood and spoil the piece. Use a regular screwdriver and hand-tighten, avoiding over-tightening. Although not included and not required in the instructions, I added wood glue to the Dow pins to increase the strength of the connections and reliability. In fact, they include some additional mounting hardware. clearly marked as "Spare" which is nice.
