I just started swimming in physical therapy exercises and I was concerned about bleach. This was the only dechlorinating shampoo/body wash I could find that wasn't loaded with chemicals and didn't cost a million dollars. I don't smell chlorine in my hair after using it, and basically I don't smell it on my skin either, but I guess soap isn't always everywhere. It doesn't lather as much as others, so the finish needs a little more attention. I always seem to miss my arms and shoulders! My fine hair hasn't been damaged so far, and my skin hasn't dried out. I use a very moisturizing conditioner and coconut oil on my skin afterwards, which I think also helps. I would not recommend using this without a moisturizer.
