Review on Enhance Your Photography: Nikon SB-700 AF Speedlight Flash for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras by Kristiyana Setiyawat ᠌

A good product, more pros than cons.

Today I will present you my review of the product Nikon SB 700 Speedlight Digital Cameras. The build quality is regressing compared to the former SB-600. There was nothing like that, unfortunately. Although it looks structurally quite knocked down, firmly. Flash for infrequent / non-professional use, as they say "for the home, for the family." Let’s see how to use. Slightly disappointed.

Pros
  • - Complete set, the sizes and weight! -Very simple but rich, clear and easy to manage; - Can be master and slave (fully compatible with younger models of Nikon cameras in SU4 mode); -Sufficiently accurately conveys the expected power of light; -The head rotates 360 degrees (180 in each direction relative to the main position); - Pretty accurate BB transmission. -Built-in retractable "business card", very convenient puff up!
Cons
  • Comparison with SB-600: On the hot shoe, Nikon'a D7k backlash, so much so that the vertical red strip of AF-assist illumination slides to the side relative to the center focus point in VI. It’s very annoying ((, but AF misses weren’t noticed like. The body of the head creaks at the slightest pressure on it, and also has a small free play - backlash (but this is not critical, it is quite pleasant, smooth). Very rigid tilt/rotate flash head release button. You look crushed . AND! the flash itself does not have a snug fit of the metal plate on the fastening leg to the plastic shoe body - LUFTIT in mating, although it is screwed on from the inside with 4 bolts. (this is what finished me off in the end).
