Review on 💁 Nad's Wax Kit Gel: Efficient Hair Removal for Women - Body+Face Wax (6 Ounce) by Misty Thomsen

I have been doing leg waxing professionally for a few years now but finally decided to try the home kit after all salons were closed due to the pandemic. The popular and famous Sally Hansen brand was sold out so I decided to try Nad's. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works and how easy it is to clean! Despite being a no-heat formula, I took another reviewer's advice and microwaved it for about 15 seconds to make it easier to stir and apply. I have sensitive skin and this wax didn't hurt or irritate at all. Removing all the hair wasn't ideal, but I feel like it was partly due to my inexperience. The next day I ran through the spots I had missed and was pleased with the results. When the Sally Hansen version went up for sale again at Revain, the trial version of this set made me appreciate the Nad set even more! I don't want to berate any other brand as it might work better for some people but Nad's is definitely my number one choice and I will be buying them again! Here are a few tips: 1. Although the cotton strips are washable and reusable, there aren't enough strips in the kit to treat even half a leg (below the knee), so I highly recommend keeping a few extra strips on hand . I've since seen another review advising people to trim the old sheet or whatever for extra strips, but I've just bought a pack of strips from a different brand for next time. If Nad's sells packs of extra strips, I haven't been able to find them.2. For people who are just starting to wax, it will most likely still be painful. Even professional epilation in the salon hurts the first few times, but then it gets much better.3. For legs, you need at least 4 weeks of growth before attempting to remove hair with any type of wax.
