I really wanted to love this vest. It looked exactly what I was looking for. However, it hangs me really weird. It might just be my body type (I'm fuller on the hips/butt) but it just doesn't fit well on my lower back - it sticks out even when open. If there was a way to pull it down at the waist, or if it had a shape and not just a straight cut, it would be so much better. I bought it for long walks/hikes so I'll keep it, but it's not what I was hoping for. Also, I agree with other reviewers: the pocket placement is odd. The pockets are nice and deep, which is great, but uncomfortable to put your hands in. The hood fits great. It's dense enough to stay in place even in windy conditions. And the lining is soft and warm. The material on the hood and shoulders feels good in wet weather and is waterproof. All in all, this might be a great vest for someone with a less curvaceous figure, but not ideal for me.
