The number of shoes that fit on a shelf really depends on the type of shoes you wear and their width. are. I mostly wear wider trainers and I can barely fit 5 pairs per level or 15 pairs in total. You can also put thinner shoes like slippers or sandals under the shelf, and with larger shoes you get 3-4 pairs at most and they only fit on the top level as the distance between them is quite small. would fit a lot more but the shelf suited me well as they just piled up in my closet. Now that I have everything organized I always have room to put them back before taking another pair and it has stayed organized for over a week which is good for me.
