Every month I buy an 11 lb bag of high protein LID Indoor Cat. My vet recommended a high protein diet to help my cats gain more weight. To introduce her, I started mixing her LID and high protein content. Previously, each high-protein bag contained a significant amount of crumbs. My cats refuse to eat crumbs so I throw away most of their food. I decided to open a new high protein packet and strain it through a sieve. I was shocked how many crumbs there were. Almost 4 cups to be exact! It worries me that I'd pay $30 for a bag of food only to find it's packed with extra crumbs. what to do with it The normal LID and LID Indoor Cat appear normal with no extra crumbs. I've only seen extra crumbs in the high protein formula. I will of course look around for other dry food for my cats.
