The best part about clickhouse was that it helped me to do real time analytics without much of an overhead or setup cost, which really made sense given how I had very little data in my tables at first! Also being able to use SQL queries through JDBC connections allowed for easy integration with other systems we were using - another bonus side effect from this ease of accessability via sql statements. It's also quite simple to query when you're just starting out as well since there are so many examples online (including videos!). There aren't any downsides either aside form maybe some minor performance issues. If anyone has experience implementing it, feel free to ask questions here because most people who have implemented it seem pretty happy with their results too! We used it mostly internally but it can be easily integrated into external applications if needed. Using click house allowed us to quickly get up and running while not having to spend tons of money setting everything.
