This TV/monitor stand is almost perfect. The only downsides to this stand are very minor. One of them is the glass back, which attracts dust and fingerprints. Pure personal, cosmetic opinion Functionally the base works great I would have liked a different material but wanted a stand with more height adjustment and this stand definitely fits. Plastic cable guides. The bottom one is fine because the cables don't move in it. However, the top guide cannot hold cables as it is all plastic and only uses tension to stay closed when the panel wobbles from side to side. The cables are so thick that even the excess length does not help and bend the cable guide (see Fig. 4 and 5). I replaced it with a regular cable tie before it broke completely. Those minor issues aside, this is a very powerful stand with plenty of height adjustments, as well as tilt and swivel functions. The assembly was very easy and very quick. It comes with an assembly tool so you don't need any other tools. The hardware holding everything together is huge, I would trust that this stand could easily hold a much heavier panel. Once the stand is assembled and the panel is in place, swiveling is effortless and offers a wide range of motion. The tilt works with a thumbscrew, which is simple but strong enough to hold our monitor at a certain angle with ease. There is approximately 15° of tilt adjustment up or down. To adjust the height, you must remove the plate with the VESA plate attached from the vertical mount by lifting, then pulling out, and then hooking into the appropriate height slots. If you've routed cables, you'll likely need to adjust them after adjusting the height. Cable management is good, but not perfect. Rubber feet on the underside of the base elevate it high enough to route cables underneath for vertical support, which is nice. The bottom cable routing works well and keeps the cables close to the vertical support. (see picture 5) However, I had to replace the upper cable guide with a cable tie. I'm happy with the cable management, although it looks reasonably organized even though I can't use the top cable management. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. This stand does what we want it to do, which is to add more height adjustment while retaining the tilt and swivel functionality of the original monitor stand. Most monitor stands advertised for a 24 inch monitor (which we use) only have about 5 inches of height adjustment. We weren't happy with just 5 inches so I went with this one even though it's recommended for 27 inch and larger panels. However, our 24" monitor fits perfectly on it, so I'm not sure why they call the 27" panel the smallest panel for this stand. Height adjustment than most smaller monitor stands.
