Only fits in an octagonal box, not a square one as one reviewer said. Also, if you want to flush mount it to a wall or ceiling, you will need to cut a notch in it to allow the wire to enter through the side. I would use a dremel with a rotary file if needed as I have one. And 4 connecting screws (2 for each wire) are best used for #14 wire or less. You can make a hook or S shape to mount them as long as you don't connect extra light beyond that. Finally, they are NOT ceramic so I wouldn't run more than 100 watts or so through them as they can overheat. But I just accepted. I use them for 100W LED downlights.
