This is a good and good value cover. I use mine as a dust cover in the garage so can't speak to general weather resistance. I was VERY impressed that my prized 2009 Yamaha fz6 would fit as a custom case! But - if you're used to thicker, old-school covers, this isn't the case. In the hand it feels very thin and thin. However, I think it would be fine as an internal storage solution.
