Inexpensive! I bought a set for spring. It works very well and doesn't break hair or irritate skin as much as the electric epilator I've used. It's a little uncomfortable, but not very difficult to use. I think I can find out. It works great on the fine blonde hair on my face, allowing makeup to be applied more evenly. It doesn't remove all the hair but thins it out which I like more. (I have weird dark thick hair and it doesn't work. I had to use tweezers.) I'm not sure how long this tool will last. One of the handles broke off but came back up easily and didn't cause any problems. As for the price, I'm not too worried. The tweezers work well and is just a bonus for me as it was the cheapest thread spring I could find. I really wouldn't use a dermaplaner blade. I've tried it before and wasn't interested in the results. (I think it looks a bit strange that for a few days I had no facial hair at all. I felt like my skin was getting oily and I was sweating a lot. looked like rough stubble. ) :P
