Review on Pentax Optio RZ-18: 16 MP Digital Camera with 18x Optical Zoom - Black | High-performance Photography Equipment by Tim Wilske

This is my third incarnation of this camera - the first has literally died after taking up to 500 a day over a three year period made recordings. I dropped the second one and broke it, but if I hit my palm with it I can still take pictures. My only regret is that it doesn't take good panoramic photos like my old film camera. I do road trips around the country at least four months a year. I carry this camera in my purse. I take photos through the windshield and passenger side window en route, and also when we stop at various points. The battery lasts all day shooting anything. I bought another set of batteries and a car charger so I always have a fully charged battery on hand. I like the fact that it uses an SD card instead of a heavy memory card. Although I'm not a professional photographer, I find some of the shots I take with this camera to be quite spectacular.
