I received this product after realizing that the cameras with the standard wall mounts that came with my Arlo Pro 2 cameras are not seeing objects near my house can (the wall I am against). installed) and also detected unwanted movement of vehicles and pedestrians on the road/sidewalk, even with reduced sensitivity when crossing the field of view. Mounting the camera about 4 inches from the wall allowed me to tilt it so I could see the house up close (now I can tell when my garage door is open/closed) and traffic on the sidewalk and street diagonally crosses the top view of the camera and does not trigger an alarm/video recording. It detects movement on my driveway or in front of my front door at will. The mounts themselves are very good and allow for very flexible adjustment with a ball on the end that Arlo magnets stick to. A small cable attaches to the mount where 1 end screws into the camera - this prevents the camera from falling to the ground if knocked off the magnetic mount (which looks like a difficult thing to do). The fasteners are metal and appear to be able to withstand any stress. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and feel they offer a higher level of customization than the Arlo outdoor security mount for less than half the price.
