The strap is transparent with sequins inside and fits perfectly on my incredibly small wrist (maybe even three notches smaller!). The band is a bit rubbery, which is great because it's very flexible, but it has a more "non-slip" feel. Personally I prefer a bit of a stick so my lure doesn't move while I'm moving so this works great. I am very satisfied with this product!
