nail clippers work GREAT! Not sure why the other reviewers had the problem. This is doubly odd as the ratings for nail clippers alone are better than this combo pack. Either way, the zoom is perfect for getting a 2 month old's tiny nails spot on, as long as you can get them to sit long enough to actually clip them. It helps that I can see where to stop and not go too deep. The tweezers also worked great for a few things, but I didn't test them in practice. The white plastic part of the nail clipper feels a little cheap, but it sticks and stays on the nail clipper without slipping. Clippers are very sharp and can cut skin easily, but the hinge mechanism doesn't have too much torque so you won't chop your fingers off, but as always with any baby product, be careful!
