Flexible leg tripod for SLR cameras and smartphones!

I've been using this for over 2 weeks now and love the compact yet sturdy tripod. Starting with the legs, these are metal wire legs covered in rubber. I bend them for a lower tripod height or to grab a pole or branch. legs are strong. The only complaint will be that the base of the three legs isn't wide and plastic enough. This makes it difficult to wrap objects that are over 4 inches wide. There is a 1/4" accessory mount on the side of the leg base. Pretty useful when you need to add a microphone or light accessory to your vlogging rig. I like the ball head mount. Its all-metal base and ball head are very well built. It holds my 2lb DSLR as well as my phone camera without slipping. The top base mount has a 1/4" mount and a hidden foldable smartphone holder. The smartphone holder is large enough for my 6.9" Samsung Note S20 Ultra to fit my other phones as well. The 1/4" holder fits most cameras and DSLRs. The problem with the 1/4" mount is the lack of a locking knob. Basically I may have to rotate the base mount in relation to my DSLR to tighten it, damaging the marks on the base of my camera or setting the mount at the wrong angle I also had trouble removing the 1/4" mount from the ball mount. Coman must have put threadlock or glue on the 1/4" mount. Even if I turned it with my hands, I could not detach it from the ball joint. A Bluetooth remote control was included. Press and hold the single button for 5 seconds to pair with your smartphone. This basically triggers the volume down button to force the smartphone to take a photo or start recording a video. Simple and effective. The only problem is that there is no easy way to open the remote to change the battery. The cracks are not visible. I guess I'll have to put up with it when the battery dies. Overall this is a good tripod with flexible legs. Definitely heavier than tripods with plastic grips. I actually bought 3 of these, one for the camera and two for the lights. β€”Sterling W
