I used this in my own "backup box" which includes a 35Ah deep cycle AGM battery, a 400W inverter, a 12V cigarette lighter outlet and 4 USB has connections. While it won't show you the voltage, it's handy for quickly viewing the status of your battery. I'm thinking of putting one in my truck as I like to sit with the stereo on. Great for custom builds like mine or something like a golf cart or power chair. Looks good when installed due to the viewing area so only the screen is visible.
