good to keep everything in the house. Overall, they're better than most of the competition, so I'm happy. Pros: I like the hinged lid and the ability to add a container with nails/screws/etc. for a project instead of stuffing my pockets or using a container with a lid that comes off completely because I lose things. especially the lids. They are quite strong and appear to be durable. and there is no other container of this kind sold at a reasonable price. Cons: I bought an older version of Lowe's a few years ago and still use it. When I received them I immediately noticed that the sides of the jar weren't as strong and the lids were a bit more brittle and didn't seem to fit as tightly as the older versions with the "bag holder" style lid. Of course I didn't use it as a bag holder, but rather as a label holder. When I found a box of nails/screws/etc. I would tear off the top of the box and place it in the container between the "bag holder" and the container wall. But that's just a personal preference.
