Review on Smart bracelet Xiaomi Mi Band 2, black by Danuta Ciszkowska ᠌

There are pros and cons, think before buying.

In this particular model, I was swayed by the device's design, which gives it a really futuristic appearance. After putting the fitness functions through their paces, I came to the conclusion that the product was entirely pointless and was therefore a waste of money. Sure, and when I purchased them, I did so with the presumption that they would provide me with some sort of fitness advantage. Indeed, he counts steps, and he counts them even if a bracelet is placed on his wrist and you carry a bag in the same hand as he does (without waving your arms). In passing, I should mention that he does not respond to handshakes. It is necessary to measure the pulse in a static, tranquil state in order to get an accurate reading of the pulse, however, because it is counted. In point of fact, if you aren't feeling well, you should be able to tell right away that something is off with your pulse. It is possible to program an alarm, and it will do a good job of waking you up in the morning (it vibrates, in case you don't want to wake anyone else up). However, sleeping with a rubber bracelet on your arm is not very comfortable! Forget about improving your fitness with this gizmo; it's only there for show. Every fitness function that a phone bracelet has to offer is unnecessary for normal daily living. Notifications from a smartphone include incoming calls, text messages, and alerts from the programs installed on the device (from which application it does not write exactly). Does not display any information on incoming callers (through the native MiFit application). For instance, if your phone is in your bag and you receive a notification from an application or a text message, you will need to retrieve your phone in order to check who sent the message. The wow factor will go approximately ten minutes after you take ownership of this device, thus I would not advocate purchasing it.

Pros
  • design, portability, low weight, long working hours, resistance to wetness, and the ability to function independently of a smartphone (you still need a smartphone for initial setup)
Cons
  • In the sun and in the daytime on the street, you can’t see the information on the screen, you need to cover it with your hand (you don’t need to do such a trick with a regular watch). The information may be seen quite well whether it is day or night. It's not a comfortable process to buckle up. The application that is native to MiFit is not user-friendly (and there is not much use, mainly for settings). There are notifications from the phone (sms, calls, applications), but there is no benefit from this, you still need to take the phone to find out who wrote and what kind of information.
