Lightweight polyester blend that won't wrinkle as much as 100% cotton. My granddaughter loved not having to worry about tucking in her uniform shirt. She is a slim size 8 so has plenty of room to move and fits a regular size 8 easily. The length was perfect for school rules. I bought two and will order again. The bodice is lined with a nice print that gives the look of a very tailored sweater.
