Review on 🌞 Ultimate Protection and Convenience: Large Baby Portable Beach Play Tent with UPF 50+ Sun Shelter, Travel Bed, and Mosquito Net by Ashley Roberts

Inexpensive sleeping tent

We bought this tent as a travel tent for our little daughter. We bought it primarily for use on an RV bunk. We also bought a small Kidco Peapod. This tent was good and worked well for the price. We ended up sending it back because we were able to get Kidco from the Revain warehouse very cheaply. If we had to pay full price for a Kidco, we'd probably keep it. Here are the similarities and differences we found: Similarities: Both tents have mesh on the bottom edge. This is important as the old Kidco Peapod tents didn't have this and were recalled because the hard material was a choking hazard for small children who could ride in it rather than roll back. Both tents have a nice large zip opening which makes getting baby out easier. - Both tents offer good protection from the sun and have a loop to secure them. - Both tents are easy to fold and come with a carry bag. They are a handy size to throw in the trunk and are very light. Differences: Kidco Peapod has a thin mattress that can be attached to the tent floor. That was the main reason we kept Peapod. This allows us to use the tent on the ground. The company's name is printed in large, bold type on one side of this tent. This was not shown in the main product photos so we were surprised by this. - The Kidco Peapod felt a little more durable but was double the price, which is to be expected. If you have money and travel a lot I would recommend the KidCo Peapod as it seems more durable and has a mattress. If you are just looking for a beach tent or something that can be used multiple times, or you are on a tight budget then go for this one. It does what it takes for half the price. Now we almost never take our Pack n' Play with us as these tents are so much easier to take with us, pitch and store. Just a note - we pitched the tent in our daughter's crib for a few naps before using it. it is on its way. I think it helped her get used to it when it came time to use it in a new place.
