Review on 🐱 Ultra Premium Cat Food: Evolve and Enhance by Sarah Mills

I have tried several high quality cat foods and this product is every bit as good as the Innova/EVO brand but is even cheaper. One of my cats has had urinary problems the past few trips. The vet pointed out possible problems with struvite crystals appearing in some low quality products, particularly those that use soy products etc as protein excipients instead of animal protein (many low quality variables cause the PH balance in their urine to shift; cat urine tends to more acidic than basic) and not drinking enough water can lead to urinary problems. Apart from a few accidents in the last 6 months this product has delivered. It seems to meet my cat's needs and stopped her UTI. My only complaint is that it tends to give my cats (I have two cats) almost diarrhea-like poo. It's not quite right, but definitely looser and stickier. It gets stuck in their hair from time to time, causing them to drag their asses to the floor. This is not due to lack of water, as we also feed them wet food. They also have a great water thirst reflex (they even have a fetish for running water!). However, we had to reduce it because the combination of wet food and this food makes the bowel movement even more watery. My educated guess is that the high nutrient content is not fully absorbed when consumed, or perhaps the high fat content. I can't say for sure, but it works for my two cats. Given the health of my cats right now, I'm willing to put up with that little annoyance. I'm just standing next to a wet rag with some kind of spoiler in hand *laughs*.
