I've been using mine for three years now (standard brush heads are changed regularly when needed). This is a great product that allows you to use both alkaline and rechargeable batteries (I use rechargeable Eneloops). On more expensive versions, if the batteries fail, you'll have to replace the entire unit (which isn't good for the environment, of course). Here the batteries are replaceable and you can continue to use the device. Also, it works exactly as it's supposed to. So don't fall for the hype and spend more money on something that only goes to landfill when the batteries die. There's no reason to spend more because this model works great, you're doing the environment a favor and you're saving money too.
