These letters do not make stacking blocks

I bought these letter blocks for my 1 and 3 year olds. The letters are large and presented in bright colors. But not at all impressed with how lightweight and cheap they look. They don't fold as well as their photos show due to the lack of weighted ends. As a result, the children lost interest. The letters are ok, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this item as a "blocky" stacking item.
