My wife and I bought these hoping our four kids could catch a movie on long car trips to avoid the usual battle royale that occurs when the bus wheels spin. When we first used it, my wife and I exchanged incredulous looks, took off our protective hats, and shyly wondered what parallel universe we'd entered when we left our compound. Another ten minutes drive and we felt confident enough to deactivate our ejection seats, thinking that at that moment the ejection process would draw us into this mystical world of stillness that we now found ourselves in. Our occasional glances at the back of the car weren't returned and not a single child moved. If I couldn't see and hear their breath, I would have been sure they turned to stone. My wife nervously turned on her favorite music, a surefire way to get all the kids in the car talking loudly to each other, but nothing happened. Our shock was palpable. These headphones were a godsend, a miracle that came into our lives through a small box. We could finally go somewhere and really enjoy the ride without raising our voices, quelling the infamous riots and threatening various penalties for just a few sips of peace. That being said, not only would I recommend these headphones, but dare I say you made a horrible mistake by not buying them sooner.
