I've used this screen about 3 times and put it in my travel bag. The soft case resulted in a tiny crack that rendered the entire screen unusable. When I gave it to the e-bike dealer he remarked that he "had seen a lot of these because of that soft bag". I took a chance and went cheap. I didn't realize that the inconsistency in the resolutions would be so incredibly difficult to compensate for. I strongly recommend that you buy a screen that matches your laptop's native resolution and get the screen in a hard carrying case. I'm not particularly picky about my equipment - it was just fragile. And I lost my bet.
