Great bike hangers, junk hardware. Even with pre-drilling, half of the self-tapping screws break off. Once installed they are SOLID and quite beautiful. Better hardware would have made it a 5* product. The tires will mark the wall of your garage if you care. Installation Notes: I mounted our tires on standard 16" studs. You can stretch plywood over the studs and screw them in if stud placement isn't ideal for you. The 11/64" pre-drilling made screwing in very easy, only removing a few screws. 12x2" screws in place of the ones I removed. Spax screws would be ideal if you have the ability to pre-order the hardware. The hanger holes are just under 1/4 inch so you will need the next smaller size. I marked the upper hole, screwed it in loosely, then aligned the lower hole with a spirit level and screwed it in. This is the only flat surface that can be referenced. After that, the middle 2 are light and tighten the top ones!
