These are the very first compression socks that I've ever used. Not having any others to compare them too, I consider them quite comfortable. I had difficulty putting them on but purchased the Truform Sock Donner which helps tremendously. I'm able to wear a pair of light wool ankle socks over the Newzill for warmth in the winter. I did find that the compression socks were quite warm during the summer months but not unbearable. I have now placed an order for another 3 pack of these socks. They seem to wash well in the machine when I place them in a laundry bag. I do not put them in the dryer. I hope I'm truly getting medical grade compression as my doctor advised me to wear them. I can't tell as I have nothing to compare them to.
