I need to edit my review to update my experience with these gloves. fall apart after a week) and sent me a new pair. This new pair seemed to have a new design. and it's terrible. Between the inner fabric and the outer part of the glove there is a new synthetic lining that you can feel. This makes the glove ultra waterproof but also makes breathing impossible. I'd rather have wet hands. Apart from the fact that the glove was very uncomfortable for me (I can hardly change the radio station in the car with these gloves), the gloves also ripped because of this. Two days ago I shoveled snow with these gloves. and my hands started to sweat (it was almost 40°F). When I tried to remove my gloves, I found that they were stuck to my hands. I tried to tear it off by pulling the glove with the tip of my index finger and heard a pleasant snap. The seams connecting the inner lining to the glove itself are torn. Pooh! If you're touting something like a "Kevlar-reinforced work glove," it shouldn't tear after days of even light use! I'm done with these gloves. Done with Carhartt. I have products I bought from this company over 10 years ago and I will use them until they break, but after this experience I refuse to buy any Carhartt products. I just can't trust them anymore. After using them for 1 week on a 15 minute commute to work, the thread on the palm of my right glove started to unravel in several places. The thread around the cuff of the right glove also begins to unravel. Meanwhile, the left glove is in great condition, and I'm not even right-handed. Like I said, I love Carhartt products. I have pants, a jacket and a pair of steel toe boots that I easily ride 2,000+ miles in and they have all held up great. This glove incident is frustrating to say the least.
