I'm not sure about the durability or even take it seriously. You need to put the blade in, there is no lifting part holding the blade. Just a tool, but your fingers are ready for some slices. Like I said, plastic. This is where your choice of blade makes the difference and it just keeps going. Save money or spend it on shaving soap. Even a beginner will find it a toy. BUT GREAT for on the go. Don't worry about leaving a good razor at the hotel. You can still shave and not worry about being left behind.
