Review on Highly Reliable Respiratory Protection: Certified Particulate Respirator TC 84A 9362 by Fred Meeks

I bought these masks to compare to the KN95 masks I've bought before. I chose it for three reasons: I wanted to try a fish-style mask; they are made in America; and they are NIOSH certified. The mask works well, but I have the same difficulties with this mask as with any other style: the exhalation comes from above and fogs up the glasses. I think the key here is to bend the metal strip to fit over the bridge of the nose (this will take some experimentation). While the mask is comfortable (my wife likes it better than the standard mask), it takes a little more effort to put it on. I like the straps that go behind the head because they hold the mask tighter and the mask doesn't slide down the face when speaking. And when you need to take the mask off, you can just slip it around your neck and the ties keep it there, ready to put on when you need it. Next time I will try the default style B08YS4958R. mask so I can compare them.
