The end bracket bolt pattern will NOT fit standard 2 " x 4 " studs.
Overall I like this product. Drywall anchors are fine, but I think upgrading the anchors to spring type is a good idea if you decide to use anchors. I recommend mounting the "end brackets" to the studs, however the bolt pattern is too wide to fit a standard 2"x4" stud. (see picture) All drywall anchors fail over time so I wanted to mount them on studs. If you're savvy and ambitious, I recommend drilling a titer screw to allow the end brackets to fit the studs.
