This is a fun and very safe toy. My little grandson plays with it every time we visit. It keeps him busy more than any other toy. He likes to press the bars and the sound feels comfortable. It's magical to see him understand that when he does "this", "that" happens. His older cousins help him learn the colors along with the spoken words from the toy. Maybe a little too much for a kid, but worth a try. Small enough to be used as a travel toy. Battery operated so I don't have to think about charging. Easy to clean! look new for the next new cousin. I recommend it, causal fun.
