Overall this is very handy for blogging. The side screen rotates and is very convenient for picture adjustment, especially when you are recording yourself. The video quality is surprisingly good in this price range. Sure, it's not a Canon Cinema camera or anything, but it costs $16,000. I think the picture is pretty good, especially at this lower price point. It's important to note that it has 16x 'digital' zoom (not optical) so it looks a little 'stepped' when zooming in while recording. But I avoid this problem by adjusting the zoom and framing the way I like before I start recording my clips, and it works great for me. It has a built in light which is great even in a pinch. It also features a hot shoe for more reliable lighting options. What really impressed me was the amount of accessories that come with it. It has 2 batteries, a hood and an external microphone. Oh, and it has a remote control! I also like that you can charge it externally while recording. All in all, this is a pretty good camera starter kit for any YouTuber or blogger.
