I was led to believe by the majority of the positive reviews to purchase the album without first giving it a try. The sound was unsatisfactory; there was a significant imbalance in the low frequencies; yet, these frequencies were sufficient, and even occasionally exceeded the appropriate level. Yet, there are no highs at all, and neither are there any mids. The equalizer does not make the issue any better; the high ones are partially audible, but there is no longer any detailing; instead, there is just a clatter and a tangle of sounds. High dissonance, and I believe they would work well for games or movies, perhaps even for club music or radio of some kind. That are only headphones; there should be no concerns about them. I'm not trying to smear them, but I do want to caution you that you shouldn't take what they say without first listening to what they have to say, and it's best not to think about them after more important models. My previous headphones, an ancient AKG-66, were so terrible that it's pointless to even bring them up in conversation. Also, the little Sony earbuds that came with the Xperia ZR sound much more balanced, and putting those 310s in after them gives the impression of putting on a hat because the sound becomes muffled. I listened to it on a Sony Xperia ZR as well as on a computer equipped with Audigy 2 ZS and some kind of built-in; I attempted to fix it up in some way using an equalizer, but to no avail. However, everything is relative; perhaps when China has been explored in its entirety or for some types of music, they are appropriate; but, I would advise taking a closer look at least at the 610 model or seeking for another option.
