To be honest I absolutely hated this thing when it came out. It seemed very solid and I felt like it wasn't doing what I wanted and was just getting in the way at the moment as I'm not used to having anything in front of my keyboard. Now that I've had it a little, I like it. I've learned to position it better when typing and adapt it to my sitting position. It's very comfortable to lean on your wrists when you type a lot, and it's comfortable to rest your elbow or hand on it when you're surfing. It has definitely reduced the pain in my wrist - I work on the computer most of the day. It's smooth, has a nice texture, and seems easy to clean. There are grips on the bottom to keep it in place while typing. It has a non-uniform shape, so you can move it to different positions to provide support while typing, gaming, or browsing.
