The suitcase was bought as a gift. It looked so cute on the internet. I dubbed VHS tapes to DVD for my granddaughter to give to her mom for Christmas. I wanted her to put them in a special looking suitcase. It had a beautiful sheen and a modern design. I chose not to give it a go: the silver plastic on the lid looked like it could get scratched very easily. Maybe he survived but didn't want to risk it. I didn't like the feel of the cover. The case was a little less solid at the back than I wanted when you held it open. you know it was ok Great for most people's needs, but not what to give her mother. This Sanwa case was good enough that I decided to keep it for my office. Just not for the purpose I had in mind. I bought another "Beyleg" case in its purest form for a dubbed DVD gift case for my granddaughter. I gradually switched ALL my DVDs to beylegs. Beylegs have a harder shell. that's what i needed.
