For the little ones who cannot crawl or walk yet, they have the opportunity to move and see the world from a different perspective than when lying down. The seat swivels so the child can control the direction they want to face or the toys they want to play with. Our baby used the sweater for a short time at the age of four months. The toys are easily manipulated to make sounds (waving a child's hand activates elephant sounds and music). I thought the flexible, flat, plastic 'animals' were irrelevant additions, but our child enjoys chewing on them, so it's obvious that Evenflo understands what children love. I appreciate that the pillow is soft and cuddly for children's feet. One caveat - it's big. We have room for it so it's not a problem for us and its size is reassuring as I doubt a child could unbalance it and turn it over.
