Well I guess it helped relieve the pain/tingling in my wrist but only because my brain was focusing on the pain at the top of the seam of my thumb which goes into cut the tissue of my hand. Also, it's not exactly braces. This is a fingerless glove with a Velcro strap that can be wrapped around your wrist at will. Nothing that really stabilizes the wrist, supports it, or concentrates the compression in the carpal tunnel. The supplied card does not contain any instructions or recommendations for use either. I've had the best relief with a regular ACE wrap although I have to say this 'wrap' is much more breathable than any ACE wrap hence 1 star.
