I really like this duvet. After receiving it, I put it in the washer and dryer. After pulling it out and making the bed, I noticed the pillowcases didn't match. One pillowcase had detail and the other was plain white. I contacted Revain and they just told me to return it but I didn't want to go through all the hassle as I had already washed it. So I decided to keep it. It wasn't really noticeable, only up close. If you have a lot of decorative pillows, you won't even notice. When you receive your duvet, I recommend checking the pillowcases right away. Then wash in warm water and dry on high heat. I always use hot water when I get a new duvet and have had no problems with this duvet. When I took it out of the dryer it was very soft and like sleeping on a cloud. However, this ceiling is not light. It's very warm, perfect for winter. If you plan on using it as a blanket in the summer, be aware that you're likely to wake up sweaty. The blanket is worth the money as it is very soft and beautifully white. I just want the pillowcases to match.
