Matches my mid-century style sofa legs - sturdy, good quality
So far I am very happy with these risers. I have a mid-century style sofa and was concerned about how the thin, tapered legs would perform in typical plastic furniture stands, so I decided to give it a try. I wanted a few inches more height so my sofa wouldn't be lower than my ottoman - this gave me exactly what I wanted. My couch is bigger now, but not too big for me (I'm 5ft 9in by comparison). Although the riser opening is slightly wider than my sofa legs, they don't move in, which is what they do. I hoped. The wood feels very heavy/durable. It was a bit difficult to install with just one person - it can be done, but it was quite difficult! Learn from me and get an extra pair of hands if possible.
