I bought this product almost two weeks ago because I was tired of using and wasting so many bars of Dove soap when cleaning my makeup brushes. I was looking for a brush cleaner that leaves no residue and makes my brushes dirtier than before washing. This cleaner is amazing! The gel cleanser loosened dirt and makeup with a gentle swirl on the Real Techniques Brushing Cleaning Palette. My brushes are soft and clean. It also didn't damage my bristles and did a great job removing all the dirt from my beauty blenders. Wet the brush liberally first, and I've found that when you run the bristles of the brush over something like your hand, the product hits the brush, removing makeup and dirt. You can twist the bristles around your palm and the product will fall into your palm. Then I rinse off and continue massaging the bristles. I actually think you need two applications of the product to get the best results, but it also depends on how much base product is in the brush. A little goes with this product! It really cleans all your brushes so well you won't even believe they've been used and it really leaves them smelling clean! Definitely recommend. Especially for the price!
