We love it! We used it every night (all night) for several weeks. After the first week, there was a hum when turning, but it is not audible since there is white noise playing in the children's room. The images are soft and fabulous on the walls and ceiling. If you need something super sharp in terms of image, this one will disappoint you. The color choice is fun, and we found the white color to be too light, so we turned it off. I like the ability to set a timer for the whole night. It's bright enough that you don't need an extra light when changing nappies or feeding at night, but not so bright that it interferes with a good night's sleep. Two hands are required to turn it on and set the time as it can be easily moved around the tabletop or dresser with one hand. This wasn't a problem for us as we turn it on before bed and sometimes after sleep so it kicks on for nighttime awakenings. I would buy this again.
